I say it every month, but February really did fly by, didn’t it? Let’s take one last look back before we pull the calendar page off.
I started February with an exploration of the best exercises for the brain. Racket sports top the list, but many other exercises benefit the body and brain.

What I’m watching
I can’t seem to get enough of Gary Brecka, and his interview with Dave Asprey does not disappoint. This first episode in a two-part series dives deep into testosterone therapy, hormone optimization, longevity hacks, and the flawed medical advice surrounding cholesterol, blood pressure, and fitness.
In Part 2, Gary shares genetic insights that are revolutionizing personal health and preventative care. Gary reveals how MTHFR mutations, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental toxins are fueling anxiety, gut disorders, cardiovascular issues, chronic fatigue, and brain fog.
What I’m reading
The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson presents a method for identifying and releasing trapped emotions—energetic imprints from past emotional experiences that become stored in the body. Nelson argues that these trapped emotions can cause physical pain and emotional distress. The book outlines his technique for detecting these emotions using muscle testing (kinesiology) and releasing them. I had always heard about the energetic healing of emotions and wanted to learn more. I’m only on Chapter 2 of the book, and I’m looking forward to learning how I can facilitate the healing of any trapped emotions. This sounds like an excellent topic for a future newsletter.
What I’m listening to
Last month, mentioned that I was reading a fantastic collection of books called The Complete Works of Florence Shinn, which I have finished. The second book, Your Word Is Your Wand, contains amazing affirmations for any aspect of life. Language is extremely powerful, and I continue to focus on improving how I communicate with myself and others.
