Special Edition: The 10th Annual Biohacking Conference Recap
Obligatory teaser: I got stark naked in the Tech Hall!
I’m Brandon Wilson. I am constantly working toward improving my mind, body, and spirit using various ancient techniques and cutting-edge biohacking tools and devices. I want to be healthy, but not at the expense of being happy. This simple idea is what it means to be wellthy.

“The ultimate goal of biohacking is to lead a happy and energetic life, one where you have enough vitality to evolve as a human being.” —Dave Asprey
I’m back in Arizona after a whirlwind week in Dallas. The 10th Annual Biohacking Conference was a great success with 3,200 attendees, speakers, and sponsors, and over 100 brand partners. Let’s dive right into the recap.
One of Dave’s big announcements was Upgrade Health. This service offers lab testing curated by Dave and his team, a health dashboard that integrates data from wearables, and personalized recommendations for biohacks and supplements. I’ve been ordering my labs for years, and this service bridges the gap between diagnostic data and personalized, actionable steps. I signed up for the premium membership. The labs are extensive, and the advice will be invaluable.
Coffee for everyone—or no one?
One of the conference perks is the unlimited coffee booth featuring Dave’s brand, Danger Coffee. I had my fair share of the good stuff, and I experienced a tasting for his ultra-premium Ceremonial grade, which was sublime.
The always-controversial Dr. Mercola told us that he hadn’t had coffee in the last fifteen years. He suggested that we give up coffee in pursuit of a drug-free life, a statement met with many boos and jeers from the audience.
Dr. Mercola announced that he’s opening health clinics staffed with expertly trained practitioners who will help people address the root causes of illnesses and achieve optimal health.
The End of Mental Illness
Dr. Daniel Amen gave a fascinating talk about his research in brain health. As a practicing psychiatrist, he asked a simple question: Why don’t psychiatrists look at the organ they are treating? He presented one slide that summarized the primary factors to consider for brain health based on his BRIGHT MINDS framework:
Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life
We all anticipated Dr. Joe Dispenza’s keynote, and he did not disappoint. He shared incredible data from live brain scans his team performs during his events. He’s been able to measure significant biological changes after meditation. You are what you think about every day.
As always, the lunches were incredibly delicious and nutritious. Dave and his team work very hard to ensure the highest quality food.
Tech Hall Wonderland
You know kids in candy stores? That’s what the Tech Hall is to biohackers. Two large rooms had booths filled with the most amazing biohacking tech and supplements.
I had a great conversation with John and was sold on the technology of the Wav Watch. You can program the device to emit specific sound frequencies that aid the body in healing. I can’t wait to try it!
I look forward to catching up with Andy, whom I met at my first in-person biohacking conference in Orlando. There are so many choices when it comes to beauty care products, but I defy you to find cleaner and more effective products than Alitura Naturals.
The ZeroBody Cryo experience was unlike any other cryo experience I’ve had. This pool can reach 38 degrees F (3 degrees C), and I lasted three minutes. It was tolerable except for the back of my head, which almost gave me a freezing headache.
I got stark naked in the Tech Hall
The Ammortal Chamber launched at last year’s conference, and this year, I scheduled a session to experience it. This chamber uses light, voice, PEMF, molecular hydrogen, and vibroacoustic therapy to infuse the body with healthy frequencies. One chamber was in an open area, and another was in an Airstream trailer, providing privacy for individuals to strip down to their comfort level. I enjoyed a deep meditative experience during the session and continue to feel the effects even a day later.
Space Cowboy Dance Party
I don’t know what a space cowboy is supposed to look like, but I did my level best. I initiated Ann into the world of methylene blue. Keen observers may recognize that I’m wearing Bono’s “The Fly” shades.
I have tremendous gratitude for Dave Asprey and his team for creating an incredible experience. I have found my calling and appreciate you joining me on the journey.
This recap only scratches the surface of what I experienced at the conference. I will share much more in a Club Member-only newsletter that will go out later this week.
