The Harmonic Egg® at the Realign Your Life Wellness Center in Mesa, AZ

A few weeks ago, I was at a psychic and healing fair where I met Steve and Jean Hanson, the owners of Realign Your Life Wellness Center. I was intrigued by Jean’s explanation of something called The Harmonic Egg® that uses light and sound to provide energy healing. I filled out a ticket to win a free session, and lo and behold, I won! This is how the universe works. Sometimes, it’s a light tap on the shoulder you barely notice. Other times, it’s a clear sign of the next step. Before I share my experience, I will cover some background on these modalities.

Sound Healing

Sound healing dates back thousands of years and was used in many ancient cultures worldwide.1 Sound frequencies in music can relax your mind and body. Sound can help to shift frequencies from the low vibrations of guilt and fear to the higher vibrations of love and joy. Sound healing uses instruments or voices to release energetic blockages, which can induce a state of ease and harmony in the body. Did you know that musical instruments have unique health benefits? Here are some examples.

  • Piano - Used to bring the nervous system into balance and address worry and anger

  • Harp - Used for stress, depression, blood pressure, focus, and balancing the chakra system

  • Violin - Used for tumors, heart, lungs, thymus, and bringing the crown chakra into balance

  • Bells - Used for high blood pressure, asthma, heart and lung problems, allergies, low vital energy, adrenal fatigue

  • Drums - Used to build the immune system and is effective for Parkinson’s and MS

  • Flute - Used for anger issues, anxiety, depression, gout, sciatica, pain, and insomnia

I’ve dabbled a bit with sound therapy. I wrote about my experience in Sedona with sound healing. I am sure you have felt the effects of music on your energy and mood when you listen to your favorite songs.

“The medicine of the future will be music and sound.” —Edgar Cayce

Light Therapy

Many ancient cultures used colors to heal, which is still used today as a holistic or alternative treatment.2 Color can bring balance and harmony back to the body and heal the five functions of the human body: physical, metabolic, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Here are some examples of how specific colors may influence the body. Red light seems to get all the attention, but the individual colors of the rainbow have their own benefits.

  • Red - Helps with blood conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, confidence

  • Green - Increases immunity, helps with digestion, heart, and circulatory system

  • Pink - Helps with Alzheimer’s, stimulates sex drive, suppresses appetite

  • Orange - Helps depression, relieves muscle cramps and spasms, stimulates thyroid, stomach, and liver

  • Blue - Helps to lower blood pressure, reduce pain, and ease headaches

  • Yellow - Helps with skin problems, stimulates lymphatics and appetite, helps with diabetes

  • Purple - Helps with eye issues, soothes mental and emotional stress, supports detoxification

I use quite a bit of light therapy. I wear TrueDark glasses during the day to block the junk light from computer monitors. I have the TrueLight Luminaire lamp that has a daytime and evening setting with the appropriate wavelengths. I recently started using a full-spectrum lamp from Bon Charge since I’ve been signing on to work before sunrise.
