What I’m reading
I had seen references to the Law of Attraction in various books, but I did not clearly understand it. I recently found the definitive book on the topic: The Essential Law of Attraction Collection. This volume includes three books: The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham, Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness, and The Vortex: Where the Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships. Even though I’m only 80 pages in, I am enthralled by the explanations and examples for how the Law of Attraction works. There’s truth behind the saying, “Be careful what you wish for,” but I would also add that you should avoid focusing on what you DON’T want because you will attract what you focus on, whether you want it or not.
What I’m listening to
Biohacker Matt Blackburn recently re-branded his podcast, A Rogue State of Mind. He often offers contrarian viewpoints on mainstream biohacking topics and does deep dives with guests on many interesting topics. Most people would agree that we cannot heal without a healthy gut; the key to a healthy gut is a healthy liver. Matt had a fascinating interview with Elisabeth Wells on the topic of liver flushing for optimal health. I learned that I should start paying more attention to my liver health, and there are many options to help it heal naturally.
