I’m Brandon Wilson. I am constantly working toward improving my mind, body, and spirit using various ancient techniques and cutting-edge biohacking tools and devices. I want to be healthy, but not at the expense of being happy. This simple idea is what it means to be wellthy.

For the reasonable price of $6 per month/$60 per year, you will receive valuable content, including access to the entire archive of over 230 newsletters, members-only content, audio voiceovers (with extra content and always read by me), participation in the brain training raffle to win monthly biohacking gift bags, and access to the Be Wellthy Club private Facebook group.

First time reading? Let’s get you in the club.

The countdown is on! We are 38 days from the 11th Annual Biohacking Conference, May 28-30, 2025, in Austin, TX.

I like the glass ampoules, but some people prefer the sachets.

On stage at the Health Optimization Summit in Austin, Gary Brecka maintained his belief that nutritional deficiencies cause many health issues we face today. While vitamins usually get the most attention, minerals are just as crucial.

Minerals are essential for cellular function, and our bodies require them all in varying amounts. Macrominerals contribute to the body's structure and are involved in energy transfer: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride, and sulfur. Trace and ultratrace minerals are present in tiny quantities but are essential for creating enzymes that facilitate biochemical reactions: manganese, copper, iodine, zinc, iron, boron, cobalt, selenium, chromium, molybdenum, fluorine, and vanadium.

We are supposed to get minerals from our food, but sadly, the mineral content in soil has depleted significantly over the last several decades.1

Long-time subscribers know I’m a big fan of BEAM minerals, a plant-based formula that provides a full spectrum of humic and fulvic minerals. I want to share another mineral supplement, which has been around since 1897.

Quinton® Marine Plasma - Bioactive Minerals from the Sea

Quinton® Marine Plasma is a natural seawater solution with over 100 years of clinical evidence supporting its therapeutic and regenerative health properties.2 French biologist and physiologist René Quinton discovered the benefits of marine plasma in the late 1800s. This marine plasma contains up to 79 essential minerals, trace elements, and nucleic acids. It is a gentle daily detoxifier that supports cellular and electrolyte balance, promotes sleep and relaxation, enhances alertness, and boosts the immune system.

How is Quinton® different from, say, Celtic sea salt? Sea salt is an excellent source of minerals, but there are two challenges: 1) Finding a clean source devoid of contaminants, and 2) Dry sea salt provides inorganic trace minerals. Even though Quinton® comes from the ocean, it is vastly different from ordinary seawater.

  • Quinton® is harvested from a unique plankton bloom in the Atlantic Ocean (Bay of Biscay) at a depth of 30 meters. Here, biological activity known as Biocenosis - a complex interaction among all known minerals and trace elements, organic nutrients, microbes, RNA, DNA, phytoplankton, and zooplankton—is at its peak. Raw seawater from this location exhibits unique biochemical and energetic properties that are distinct from those of the surrounding ocean.

  • After extraction, the solution is transported at 39.2°F (4°C) in sterile containers to Quinton Laboratorios, a certified pharmaceutical facility in Spain.

  • The solution is cold microfiltered at 0.22 µm (5000 times smaller than 1 mm) and never heated or irradiated to preserve its living quality.

  • The facility has ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and GMP certifications to ensure the highest quality.

  • The solution is packaged in double-tip glass ampoules or convenient travel sachets.

"Marine plasma tends to maintain its characteristic biological activity and the molecular balance of a living medium. The entirety of trace elements contained in marine plasma are to be found in the solution in their active states.” —René Quinton

Quinton® is manufactured in two forms: isotonic and hypertonic. Quinton® Isotonic is diluted to match the 0.9% salinity of human blood plasma. This formula is safe for children, the elderly, and sensitive people. It replenishes electrolytes, supports energy production and immune function, and increases heart rate variability. Quinton® Hypertonic is undiluted at 3.3% salinity and tastes much saltier. This formula has an anabolic effect on metabolism, improves endurance and strength, and is excellent for high performance and intense mental activity. If you want to nerd out with a deep dive, here is a detailed article.

I purchase Quinton® through Water and Wellness, where you can get a 30-day supply for $50. My strategy is to use BEAM minerals with Quinton® first thing in the morning. I like the idea of getting the best of land and sea. Quinton® is also great on the go when I want a hydration boost.

No matter how clean and nutritious your diet is, I suggest that you consider taking a mineral supplement to keep your body in tip-top shape.

The Daily Habit is where I share my habits related to the fundamentals: sleep, diet, physical activity, mindfulness, and stress management.

Establish a habit of drinking a full glass of water upon waking up in the morning. Make sure the water is clean and filtered, and add your favorite mineral supplement, such as BEAM minerals, Quinton®, or a pinch of clean sea salt.
